The Washington Wizards will be without Ian Mahinmi for a while

The Washington Wizards signed 29-year old PF/C Ian Mahinmi to a 4-year, $64 million dollar deal over the summer, but they will be without him for the next 4-6 weeks due to a knee injury.  Mahinmi played in 71 games (all starts) for the Pacers last year and he averaged 25.6 minutes, 9.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game.  He also played in 7 games (all starts) in the playoffs last year for the Pacers in which he averaged 24.6 minutes, 8.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.  The Wizards hope that Mahinmi will be ready to go without missing too much time, as they need his size on the court.
